Starting April 01, 2026 any one who operates a motorized vessel in Massachusetts waters is required to complete a Massachusetts Approved* Boaters Safety Course.  THis 4:45 minute video provides an overview and background on the legislation. 

The American Waterways Operators and the National Safe Boating Council have partnered to create a video educating recreational boaters on how to safely interact with commercial vessels on the water.
